Heather Collins joined Baltimore Research in 2002. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with top honors from the University of Maryland at College Park. Heather concentrated her studies in Public Relations and Applied Communication in organizational settings.

Since joining Baltimore Research, Heather has served in multiple capacities and has truly risen in the ranks. Her first roles with the firm were as a telephone recruiter and as a qualitative assistant in the hospitality department. Heather quickly rose to the ranks of a project manager. In this position, Heather's concentrations were in large recruitment projects with specialty audiences, such as mock trials, low literacy surveys and minority research. In 2003, Heather transitioned to the facility manager at Baltimore Research. In this role, Heather oversaw the staffing and management of the hospitality personnel and daily operations. She became responsible for catering to the needs of clients on-site and for the execution of the research when project dates arrived.

Heather now serves as the Director of Client Services. She works as the first point of contact for clients who are interested in doing research at the facility. She handles general inquiries about potential research and the facility, writes all proposals and schedules all projects. Her experience in public relations and communications allows her to appraise the difficulty and feasibility of clients' requests and to work with clients to understand their research goals and objectives.  Heather also handles Human Resources for Baltimore Research.  She is an active volunteer in the MRA (Marketing Research Association) and PMRG (Pharmaceutical Marketing Research Group).  She served on the Program Committee for a number of years culminating in her role as Chair of the Conference Program Committee and Vice Chair of the Education Work Group.
